It's April 1st!

Update: Due to the Coronavirus, officials have postponed all April Fool's Day activities.

But we aren't postponing our spiritual growth!

Wait, why is the moon pink?

On April 7th, at approximately 10:45pm EST, we will be experiencing the last Supermoon of the year. 2020 only has two Supermoons, the first having occurred on March 9th. That one was called the Worm Moon (a name which I dislike greatly) because it signifies the time of the year when earthworms start to appear. Similarly, this Pink Moon (love THAT name) is named as such because it is when Moss Pink, or Phlox Moss, starts to appear!

What is a Supermoon?

A Supermoon occurs when the moon is full AND nearest to the Earth in its rotation. This makes the moon look super huge, so scientists thought to name it the super-moon. Which is fair.

Okay, so I'll watch the moon. Then what?

Full moons are the perfect time to get your crystals out for a little cleansing and recharging. You see, crystals are born and grow very slowly, precisely, and pristinely in the Earth. Its energy is pure and powerful. It is because of this natural state of perfection that crystals vibrate at such high frequencies, and it is these high-vibrational frequencies that attract us as humans. We have less-than-perfect make-ups because we have been subjected to oppression by others and by society as a whole. Our vibrational energy has been pushed down constantly. But crystals are pure. They literally lift our vibrational energy to counteract the negativity we are subjected to on a daily basis. But the crystals themselves can only deal with so much negativity and they need to be cleansed periodically to work properly. Without cleansing your crystals, you are essentially working with a piece of dead rock.

The moon emits a white light energy, the purest of all lights. This white light washes away the impurities that we have placed into the crystals, allowing them to reach their initial high-vibrational levels. The Supermoon has the most powerful white light energy of all the moon phases, so it is the best time to expose all of your crystals to this energy.

As for recharging your crystals, this is done AFTER they have been cleansed. To do this, you need to set an intention for each crystal. It might sound ridiculous to new crystal users but you literally think your intention into the crystal. Crystals have been proven to have the ability to retain information in their molecular make-up. This is why we use clear quartz in all of our technology today. The quartz absorbs energy and passes on information. It has also been proven that crystals absorb and retain intentions from the human conscious. However, because this theory didn't fit with the status quo at the time, it was knocked down by the scientific community and has been left as a powerful secret only accessible to those who look past societal norms (which, I'm assuming is everyone who reads this).

So, crystals retain our intentions. It is up to us to place our intentions inside our crystals. Each different crystal has its own, let's say, personality to best handle each of your wishes. If you want to be clearer with your thoughts and make more people understand you, then Mr. Lapis Lazuli is sitting over there with a pen and paper waiting to take notes. You want to feel more confident in your career and get more done? Her Royal Majesty, the Tigress, is eyeing you up and down to see if you are worthy of her power.

How do I know which crystal to use for my intention?

Unfortunately, I have not had the chance to write individual posts for each crystal. It is MY intention to do that. Maybe I'll charge my Fluorite under the Supermoon with the intention to focus more on my writing! But there are a lot of resources online to get you ready for April 7th. Just, do me a favor and read multiple posts about each crystal. There are a few blogs and stores out there that truly just make things up, so.. contrast, compare, and try to work out who is telling the truth and who is lying. I'll get my act together to make sure you have a trusted source for all crystals soon.
